About Me
Hi there! My name is Lacey Hanson I am 17 years old and I reside in Southern, MN. I have about a 20 head rabbitry and I also once in a while have West Highland White Terrier puppies. I am actively involved in FFA and 4-H. I love to dance and have been doing so since I was two.
My family is an extremely important part of my life, I wouldn't have my rabbits if it wasn't for my grandma. My grandma is very involved with my rabbits. She always has an eye on everything that is going on. I have an older sister and and younger brother. My older sister is married and just had her first baby. I love my nephew very much, I spend a lot of my time with him.
I am very interested in agriculture and have a mentorship at the University of Minnesota Southern Research and Outreach Center of Waseca, MN right now. I am currently serving as FFA president for my chapter. I am have been having a lot of fun there, and have learned many interesting and useful things. I haven't decided on a college yet, possibly the U of M or SDSU. And I am thinking of going for Animal Science.
I enjoy attending as many rabbit shows as I can, however, I don't usually have the time to drive to one that is far away. So I usually just go to the ones that are close by. Which end up to be plenty for me. I show my rabbits at the fair, and always do well with them. You'll see on this website under Jersey Wooly Does, Jersey Wooly Bucks, upcoming litters, and in the nest box that some of the rabbits will say owned by Mallory. Mallory is a really good friend of mine, she owns a few Jersey Woolys but she mainly breeds Flemish Giants. We will often use each others bucks. That is why I have her rabbits on my website.
